White Sauce


300ml milk
30g butter
30g flour
salt & pepper

Method:

Gently melt butter in pan
Using a whisk, stir in flour
Fry gently for 1 min stirring all the time (DO NOT let the butter/flour brown)
Slowly add milk stirring all the time
When thickened & simmering, add salt and pepper to taste
Simmer for a further 2-3 min stirring all the time
