Al Babaloo's Apple, Sage and Cranberry Stuffing

(Makes enough to stuff a large bird)

6 slices of whole-wheat bread - diced
1 medium white onion - chopped
3 apples (any kind) - diced
2 cups dried cranberries
8 sage leaves - chopped
1 cup melted butter

Cooking method:

Gently fry onion in oil until soft
Mix together with other dry ingredients in a bowl
Season with salt and pepper
Add melted butter and stir it in
Stuff bird
When bird is cooked, scoop out stuffing,
put it in a baking tray and bake in hot oven
until crispy on the top
